Ministry Components

Sunday School is offered for children who are of preschool through kindergarten ages. All students must be three years old  by September 1st and have independent bathroom skills.

Classes are held October through April during the 10:00am Mass. The program offers an introduction to the prayers, traditions, and beliefs of the Catholic Church in a fun, nurturing environment.

The curriculum is Bible and inspirational story based. Activities include prayer, age appropriate stories, lessons related art projects, and music time. Classes are held in the lower level meeting room area.

Kindergarten families may choose either Sunday School or Family Formation. If your oldest child is in Kindergarten, please register your child for Sunday School, not Family Formation. Children must be registered to participate.

Children are introduced to prayers, traditions, and beliefs of the Catholic Church. Activities include prayer, Bible stories, art projects, and music. During these gatherings, children are assigned to a small group and each group is led by two catechists, which could be you!

Sunday School is offered during the 10:00am Masses.

LENDING A HELPING HAND

Ministry partners are needed to make Sunday School successful. If you enjoy spending time with children and would like to share the love of Jesus with our youngest parishioners, this would be a great opportunity for you.

Who can partner in this ministry:

• Adults over the age of 18, high school youth, and middle school youth with an adult or older sibling.
• Adult ministry partners over 18 years of age must be VIRTUS (safe environment) compliant.
• Youth ministry partners need to complete the Youth Packet.
• Our partners teach on a rotating basis with another team of teachers/catechists.
