St. John Neumann's First Sacraments preparation is designed in partnership with parents to prepare children to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion for the first time. This preparation is open to all children who have been baptized and are in second grade or above and have attended faith formation at a parish or Catholic school last year. 1st grade families: be sure to register your child for faith formation classes this year (if not in a Catholic school) in order to register for First Sacraments preparation next year. Beginning 2024-2025, the children's Faith Formation is wrapped into preparation for these sacraments and they do not need to be registered for (or attend) Family Formation. They and their parents are of course welcome to attend the monthly gatherings, especially if there are siblings in Family Formation.
Further details, schedule, registration for First Sacraments Preparation may be found here.
