Faith Formation Program Registration

Faith Formation Program Registration 2020-2021

Welcome to Faith Formation at St. John Neuman!

Forming lifelong disciples who fully participate in our Catholic Christian life.

We have something to offer for every child / youth from preschool to grade 12. Including those children and youth who would like to prepare and receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, First Reconciliation, and/or First Communion.

We have implemented our 2020-2021 Safe Open and Preparedness Plan (see link below), which we encourage all to read. We began this year in large-group format, not in classrooms; logistics for various ages/grade levels were communicated to registered families in September. Moving to small-groups will depend on global and regional health conditions, which we monitor continuously. Format changes will be evaluated every two months or as circumstances require.

Families with high-risk individuals or discomfort with gathered settings may choose the at-home only option; all materials echo the at-church program, forming one ministry.

Volunteering in Faith Formation
Thank you for sharing your gifts with our children and youth! We fully equip volunteers to lead their groups’ materials and actively accompany them throughout their ministry as they accompany their groups.

Volunteers: St. John Neumann is committed to promoting a safe environment for everyone including children, youth and vulnerable adults. All volunteers who have either regular or unsupervised interactions with children or youth must be in compliance with the Archdiocesan Safe Environment requirements known as Essential 3. The Essential 3 entails completing a Background Check, signing a Code of Conduct, and completing safe environment training, VIRTUS. Volunteers must be compliant with requirements before you volunteer. Re-credentialing is required every three years.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Tonya.Brost@sjn.org and / or 651-209-8589.

Volunteered previously? Contact Tonya.Brost@sjn.org and / or 651-209-8589 to find out if your volunteer training needs updating.

Let us know if you have questions. You are in our prayers, every day.
